APHTN Overview
The Alaska Public Health Training Network (APHTN) is a distance learning system that takes training to the learner. APHTN usually broadcasts a health related program every Thursday morning over UATV channel throughout Alaska. Since its inception in 2001, APHTN has reached thousands of people statewide with training and informational programs on a wide range of subjects. The Public Health Preparedness and Response to Bioterrorism Focus Area G: Education and Training fund the APHTN.
